- The Diploma in Paralegal Studies is suitable for:
- Persons holding a High School Diploma or equivalent in addition to either of our pathway courses. Applicant must have a minimum of 2 years’ professional workplace experience which must involve communicating with others, problem-solving, managing workloads effectively, decision-making and the exercise of judgment.
- This intensive course looks at subjects including the Law, Legal Research and Legal Writing, Civil Litigation, Criminal Law and Procedure, Property Practice, Legal Ethics and Professional Responsibility and Legal Technology. They are taught by prominent experts in the field and attract candidates from across the globe.
The Diploma in Paralegal Studies is split into 12 Modules and 4 phases.

This grouping allows students to first establish a solid understanding of the legal system, research techniques, and ethical considerations. They then delve into various substantive legal areas to understand the intricacies of different legal domains. Finally, they gain practical experience through internships or practicums while also learning about relevant legal technologies used in the field. This structured approach helps students develop a well-rounded skill set and knowledge base necessary for a career as a paralegal or legal assistant. After successfully completing all of these parts, candidates are eligible to be certified.
